CADETS LEAD THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Every morning at the start of the school day we are asked to rise for the Pledge of Allegiance.  Sadly, many don't.  This is disgraceful.  Failure to rise is not a matter of exercising one's freedom of thought, it is pure laziness.  It is disrepectful.  Even if one is not an American citizen, simply rising for the pledge without actually taking it is a matter of being polite and respectful--it's kind of like saying please and thank you or taking a little bit of food that has been offered because to refuse would be insulting.

Take a moment and listen to the Red Skelton's speech linked below, and please, without being obnoxious about it, encourage your classmates to stand for the Pledge.  Lead by example--when you stand, stand tall and say it clearly. Think about what it means.

Click here>>>Red Skelton's Pledge of Allegiance Speech  (NOTE:  If you click the obvious play button, you may have a problem getting the video to play.  If you do, click the smaller play button below the video display.  It may play both video and audio, but if all you get is audio, it is still well worth listening to.)

THE JOB ISN'T FINISHED UNTIL THE PAPERWORK IS DONE CORRECTLY!

This is an example of paperwork that has been handled carelessly and turned in late.  Shameful.  #Don't let this happen to you!

ARE YOU READY FOR BETHEL?

Are you ready to compete and win at Bethel?  Are you really?  The drill meet is just two weeks from tomorrow and is one of only two chances we have to qualify for the Area Four Championship.  To qualify, we must finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd overall--that's tough considering the competition.
