ARE YOU READY FOR SCHOOL TO START?

Are you ready to start the new school year?  Now is the time to think about getting your uniform ready and your shoes shined.  But that's the easy part.  It's also the time to really commit to doing everything you need to do to be an effective, efficient learner in the coming year.  Have a plan in place for how, when, and where you will do your studying.  Think about seemingly simple matters of preparation and organization.  For instance, do you have adequate supplies?  Do you a simple, usable way to record assignments and due dates?  Have you thought about easy to use common references such as a paperback dictionary and a simple guide to grammar?  Maybe a map of the world?  Do you have useful sites bookmarked in your Chromebook or preferred IT device?

Remember:  Failure to Plan is Planning to Fail!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2016 CO/XO PIPELINE TRAINING GRADUATES

Ten specially selected MHS NJROTC cadets recently completed the annual three-day CO/XO Pipeline Training Course.  Topics included planning, goal setting, operations management, "upstander" bullying prevention, and general leadership.

2016-2017 CO/XO PIPELINE TRAINING TO CONVENE 9 AUGUST

Our annual CO/XO Pipeline Training course will convene on Tuesday, 9 August at 0930 (note time change) at Monhagen Middle School, room 604.  Since we have delayed the daily start time, we will run a little later and attendees should bring a snack.  Attendees should be ready to start promptly.
