CONGRATULATIONS MHS NJROTC LEADERSHIP ACADEMY GRADUATES!

Congratulations to Cadet Lieutenant Junior Grade Roberto Soriano, Cadet Lieutenant Zacharias Nyaware, and Cadet Ensign Pamela Gendreau who will graduate from the Navy NJROTC Area Four Leadership and Sail Academy (LA/ST) Academy at the historic Naval Station at Newport, Rhode Island.

LA/ST is a highly competitive, intense two-week long leadership course for rising leaders.  Candidates live in Ripley Hall, the barracks for the Naval Academy Preparatory School, and participate in a variety of training including uniform wear, close order drill, honor and ceremonies, service etiquette, and, of course, seamanship.  The program is conducted by certified NJROTC instructors and Navy staff and attendance is limited to only 144 cadets out of approximately 4,000 eligible cadets throughout the Northeast.
